This project aims to build a local clinic that will serve the rural community of Diba that consits of about 2000 househods, with and estimated population of 10000 individuals. This project will benefit the residents of Diba community, especially the elderly, women and children who currently travel very far to access health facilities, sometimes not getting there or being late for medical attention.
The community has been able to donate towards this project to its current level where the building is at roofing level. However, due to the drought that affected ther rural comunity with most losing their cattle (which is a source of income), the comminity is now struggling to raise enough funds to complete the roofing and finishing of the clinic. The tough economy in Africa has allso affected the diapora members.
